Brooklyn, N.Y., man robs casino patron of $5,000 in chips, Atlantic City police say

ATLANTIC CITY ? Tropicana security helped capture a suspect who robbed a Tropicana patron a few hours after robbing another patron at a neighboring casino, police said.
Steven McGuire, 61, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was beaten and robbed as he was taking an elevator from the gaming floor to his room at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino at about 3 a.m. Thursday, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said.
